1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”) govern your use of the website located at riverwalkrv.com (the “Site”), any reservation you make with RiverWalk RV Park (“RiverWalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and your presence on our property in Jonesville, North Carolina (the “Park”).

By using the Site, making a reservation, or entering the Park, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and every member of your party, including any minors in your care and any visitors you invite. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Park.

Our Privacy Policy and our Park Etiquette and Rules are incorporated into these Terms by reference and are binding on all guests.

RiverWalk RV Park is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and to amend these Terms and the Park rules at any time to protect the safety and enjoyment of all guests.

2. Definitions

“Guest” means the registered camper who books a site, along with every person occupying that site.

“Visitor” means any person present in the Park who is not registered to a site.

“Site” when capitalized in the context of camping means an individual campsite; “the Site” refers to our website.

“Reservation” means a confirmed booking for one or more campsites for specified dates.

3. Eligibility and Responsibility

The person who makes the Reservation must be at least 18 years of age, must be present for the duration of the stay, and is the registered camper. The registered camper is responsible for the conduct of everyone on the site, including children and visitors, and is financially responsible for any damage they cause to Park property.

Reservations may not be sold or transferred to another party.

To protect the safety of our guest families, registered sex offenders are not permitted in the Park.

4. Reservations and Booking

Reservations are made through our online booking platform and are subject to availability and to our acceptance. A Reservation is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation and the required deposit has been processed.

You agree that the information you provide when booking, including the number of occupants, the number of pets, and the type and length of your RV, is accurate and complete. Inaccurate booking information may result in additional charges or in refusal of entry.

The maximum stay allowed is 14 days.

All rates, fees, and information are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing error and to cancel any affected Reservation, with a refund of amounts paid as your sole remedy. We also reserve the right to move a Reservation to a comparable site when operational needs require it.

5. Rates

Current nightly rates for Signature and Standard sites, along with any seasonal or weekday pricing, are published on our Rates and Cancellation Guidelines page and are displayed on our booking platform at the time you reserve. The rate quoted to you during booking is the rate that applies to your stay.

Rates are exclusive of applicable taxes and of any additional fees described in these Terms. All rates are subject to change without notice. Active and retired US military personnel and first responders receive a discount with the applicable promotional code at checkout; valid identification is required at check in.

6. Payment Terms

A one night deposit is required to hold a Reservation. The outstanding balance is automatically charged to the card on file 14 days before your arrival date. You may also create an account on our booking platform to manage your Reservation and pay the balance sooner.

For stays of 8 days or longer, payment in full is required at the time of booking.

You authorize us to charge the payment method on file for the Reservation balance, applicable taxes, and any additional charges permitted under these Terms, including fees for extra guests, extra vehicles, early arrival, late departure, site cleaning, and damage. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

7. Cancellations, Changes, and No Shows

Cancellations must be made by contacting the Park office by telephone during business hours. We do not accept cancellations by email.

More than 14 days before your scheduled arrival: a refund less a $35 processing fee, or a camp credit less a $10 processing fee, with the remaining balance of the Reservation applied to camp credit.

13 days to 6 days before your scheduled arrival: a refund less the one night deposit, or a camp credit less a $10 processing fee, with the remaining balance of the Reservation applied to camp credit.

5 days to 3 days before your scheduled arrival: no refund is offered. The one night deposit will be charged and the balance of the Reservation may be applied to camp credit.

Less than 2 days before arrival, or in the event of a no show: the full Reservation fee will be charged. Failure to honor a Reservation without prior notice will also result in the loss of the ability to book future stays, and any existing Reservations will be forfeited.

Requests to modify or reschedule dates made less than 14 days before arrival are treated under the same schedule set out above.

Camp credits are valid for 18 months from the date they are issued.

Camping is an outdoor experience. We do not offer refunds or credits for the discomforts of nature, including weather, insects, wildlife, river conditions, temperature, or seasonal conditions. No refunds or credits are provided for early departures.

8. Arrival and Departure

Check in time is 2:00 pm. Please do not arrive before that time unless you have paid the $30 early arrival fee or have booked the previous night. Early check in at 12:00 pm is available for a $30 fee and must be arranged with the office in advance.

If you arrive before 2:00 pm without prior arrangement, the $30 early arrival fee applies and you may need to wait for your site to be ready. Our staff has a two hour window to mow, clean, and prepare up to 51 sites between departures and arrivals, and we appreciate your patience.

If you arrive after hours, collect your welcome package from the arrivals box at the steps of the Camp Store. Your packet lists your name and site number.

Arrivals after 10:00 pm require advance approval by telephone.

A late departure will result in a charge for an additional night.

9. Occupancy, Visitors, and Vehicles

A maximum of 6 people are permitted per site at any time, including registered guests and visitors. Your Reservation includes two adults and four children. Additional overnight guests must be reported to the office and are charged $10 per additional adult guest per night. The 6 person maximum applies without exception.

All persons not registered at check in are considered visitors and must register at the office before entering the Park to receive a parking pass. Visitors park in the designated overflow area. There is no charge for day visitors. Registered campers are responsible for their visitors and are financially responsible for any damage those visitors cause.

Each site is permitted one RV and one tow vehicle. Additional vehicles and trailers that do not fit entirely on the designated pad must be parked in the visitor parking area and are charged $5 per day. All vehicles must be parked on gravel surfaces. Parking on grass, on another site, or on the roadway is prohibited, as is double parking or sideways parking on a site. Every registered guest must display a parking pass.

The speed limit throughout the Park is 5 mph or less.

10. Camping Units

Due to insurance requirements, all camping units must be factory manufactured and must display a valid RVIA certification. We cannot accept homemade conversions or self built campers, including cargo trailers modified for camping. Trailers designed for hauling livestock or similar use are not permitted regardless of certification.

Tents of any kind are prohibited, including any structure attached to a camper, truck, van, or other vehicle.

Use of a rubber donut or a watertight collar is required on all sewer connections. Please keep your sewer valve closed until you are ready to dump.

11. Park Rules and Conduct

Guests agree to observe all posted rules and the instructions of staff. Decisions made by staff regarding noise, campfires, unsafe conditions, and rule infringements are final. Key rules include:

  1. Quiet hours run from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Keep voices and activity to a minimum and turn off outside radios and televisions. Children under 16 must return to their own site by 10:00 pm.
  2. Campfires must be contained within the fire pit, kept on gravel, never left unattended, and extinguished before you retire for the night. Burn only newspaper, kindling, and firewood. Fire pits are not trash cans.
  3. Children must be supervised at all times and may not be at another guest’s site unless invited. Parents and guardians are financially liable for damage caused by their children. Minors under 16 must not leave their campsite after 10:00 pm unless accompanied by a parent.
  4. Pets are limited to three per site. Pets must be leashed at all times on a leash no longer than six feet, except within the designated off leash area of Happy Paws Bark Park, and must be current on vaccinations. Clean up after your pet immediately using the pet waste stations provided. Pet fences are allowed within your canopy area on gravel only. Do not hang dog runs or leashes on trees. Excessive barking, growling, or aggressive behavior is not tolerated and may result in removal from the Park without refund.
  5. Alcohol may be consumed discreetly in a koozie or cup. Recreational drug use of any kind, whether the substance is legal or illegal, results in immediate eviction.
  6. Smoking is prohibited in all Park buildings, pavilion areas, and beach zones. Use the receptacles provided.
  7. Golf carts must be electric, must be registered at check in, must carry proof of liability insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 for personal injury and property damage, and must be properly lit after dark. No one under 18 may drive a cart without a parent or guardian on board.
  8. Electric vehicle charging is prohibited in the Park, with the exception of golf carts.
  9. Bicycles may be ridden only on designated roadways and trails, and not after dusk.
  10. Garbage must be placed at the front of your site between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm for pickup. Do not leave trash outside overnight, as it attracts wildlife. Dispose of only household generated garbage in the dumpster; no hazardous or flammable items, grill ash, or cigarettes.
  11. Littering, including cigarette butts, is prohibited. A $25 charge applies if management must clean your site.
  12. Prohibited items and activities include generators, camping tents, portable toilets or showers outside your camper, tarps, overnight use of outside lighting, dumping grill grease or drippings on the ground or in fire pits, walking through other guests’ sites, and placing hot grills on picnic tables.
  13. Campsite boundaries run from utility pedestal to utility pedestal. Please stay on designated roads and paths and do not cross other sites.
  14. Bathhouses and laundry should be left clean for the next guest. Young children are not permitted in restrooms or laundry facilities without an adult. Remove laundry promptly when the cycle finishes.
  15. Solicitation and the sale of any product within the Park are prohibited.
  16. Housekeeping: keep your site clean throughout your stay and leave it in the condition you found it.

RiverWalk maintains a zero tolerance policy for rude or disrespectful behavior toward staff or fellow guests. Disorderly conduct, fighting, obscene language, disturbances, causing dissension among other campers, or any conduct management deems improper is cause for immediate eviction without notice and without refund of camping fees. Any situation not expressly covered by these rules that a staff member deems unsafe will be addressed promptly.

RiverWalk hosts family friendly events on Saturdays to enhance your stay. We are not a party park, and our activities are designed for peaceful, family oriented enjoyment.

12. Assumption of Risk

Camping is an outdoor activity conducted in a natural environment bordered by the Yadkin River and adjacent to public greenway and trail systems. You acknowledge that your stay and any recreational activity you undertake, including but not limited to swimming, wading, fishing, boating, use of Barefoot Beach, walking or biking the greenway, campfire use, use of the bark park, and operation of a golf cart or bicycle, involves inherent risks of property damage, serious bodily injury, and death.

There is no lifeguard on duty at any time. River and water conditions, including depth, current, and clarity, change without warning and are outside our control. Parents and guardians assume these risks on behalf of any minor in their care and agree to supervise that minor at all times.

You voluntarily accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages that you, any member of your party, or any minor in your care may incur.

13. Limitation of Liability and Release

RiverWalk RV Park and its owners, agents, employees, and representatives are not responsible for and assume no liability for loss or damage arising from fire, theft, accident, wind, water, weather, acts of nature, or the negligence of you or of any other person, whether the loss involves injury or loss of property.

To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, you release and covenant not to sue RiverWalk RV Park and its owners, officers, agents, employees, and representatives from all claims, demands, losses, or damages arising out of or relating to your presence in the Park or your participation in any activity here.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost enjoyment, travel costs, or lost time. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, your Reservation, or your stay will not exceed the total amount you actually paid to us for the Reservation giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RiverWalk RV Park and its owners, agents, employees, and representatives from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost, or attorney fee arising from your conduct, the conduct of anyone in your party, the conduct of your visitors, or the conduct of your pets.

Nothing in this section waives any right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.

14. Damage and Accidents

Any damage to RiverWalk RV Park property is the financial responsibility of the registered guest. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement, together with any related loss of rental revenue.

Accidents and incidents must be reported to management promptly, and a report must be filed no later than 24 hours after the occurrence.

15. Video Surveillance

Our property, roadways, common areas, and buildings are monitored by video surveillance. By entering the Park you consent to that monitoring.

16. Eviction

Management reserves the right to evict, without prior notice and without any reimbursement of camping fees, anyone who creates a disturbance or nuisance, deliberately breaks Park policy, behaves disrespectfully toward staff, property, or other guests, or presents a safety concern. Eviction is immediate and final.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including flooding, storms, drought, fire, extreme weather, power or water outage, internet or telecommunications failure, epidemic or pandemic, government action, road closure, labor disruption, or the acts of third parties.
