Marcia Neese- Owner

Quirky Facts: Character in a DC Comic book known as “The Ankh.” I’ve competed in carp fishing tournaments, am a bit of a tomboy raised on a farm, and used to be quite the avid Texas Hold’em player.

Achievements: I’m proud to have contributed to the success of RiverWalk RV Park, represented Miss Hawaiian Tropic NC, and raised an incredibly accomplished son who fills me with pride every day.

Previous Career: With over 30 years of experience in Corporate Sales, Marketing, Recruiting, Customer Service, Public Relations, and Sales Management, she brings a diverse skill set to her roles at the park, where she continues to apply her expertise in enhancing guest experiences and driving business success.

Hobbies/Favorite Things To Do: I love spoiling furbabies, soaking up Caribbean sunsets with my hubby, traveling across the US to cheer on our son Luke at Supercross races, and spending quality time with our two Boxer pups “Crash & Tank.

Jim Neese AKA “Marcia’s Husband” – Owner

Quirky Facts: No memory at all, but I have the weird ability to recite every useless movie line. I cry at sad movies and America’s Got Talent on occasion, and I’m actually 6’3” tall lol.

Achievements: RiverWalk RV Park, my incredible family, and a two-decade career racing motorcycles professionally have been the highlights of my life.

Hobbies/Fav Things To Do: Mountain biking, anything in the Caribbean with my wife, and hanging with our kids.

Luke Neese- Camp Host/Grounds/Special Projects

Quirky Facts: I am quite the impressionist, I like to impersonate my favorite movie characters

Achievements: Professional Supercross racer currently racing overseas for the ClubMX team. Traveling the world while doing what I love. I’m living the dream at the moment.

Current Career: Professional Athlete & Pup Dad

Hobbies/Fav Things To Do: Messing with my dad, mountain biking, and golfing.

Additional Info: I’ve been camping with my family at races since I was just 4 years old. At 18, I lived on my own in a camper at a training facility, but I quickly realized that I’m a people person and don’t enjoy being alone. Now, Anna and I live together, and I absolutely love her home-cooked meals

Anna Neese-Guest Relations & Account Specialist

Quirky Facts: I used to race Motocross & I have a better national finish then Luke LOL and I’ve competed in 2 body building competitions.

Achievements: Being a proud dog mom to the one & only RiverWalk Mascot “Char Char”

Current Career: Accounting Analyst at Amwins

Hobbies/Fav Things To Do: Going on family walks, gym, and hanging with my friends and family in my free time.

Additional Info: I was raised in a military family and grew up racing motocross. Traveling was second nature and my camper was my second home. I have been to 27 states and lived in 5. Even though I no longer race, I still love to travel the country to watch Luke do what we both love to do.

Adrienne Combs- Guest Experience Manager “GEM”

Quirky Facts: I seek a challenge and love to learn new things. I tried playing football as a child (in addition to other sports) and quickly chose to focus on academics… no athletic talent, here! I often believe my husband knows me better than I know myself.

Achievements: While my greatest achievements can be found within my 4 children, I had the honor of being a P2P Student Ambassador in Europe at age 17, landed in the Who’s Who Among American High School Students publication in High School, made Dean’s List and President’s List in college, graduated Alpha Chi, was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and recently served as Administrator of Pine Ridge Academy (an NC Home School).

Adrienne Combs named one of Campspot’s 2025 Campground Revolutionaries for her outstanding commitment to the guest experience.

Last Career: I worked as a Construction Project Manager for Clayton Homes.

Hobbies/Fav Things To Do: I enjoy writing and photography and used to find great joy in creating Scrap Books. I embrace opportunities to spend time with my family and create memories. I absolutely love, love, love to travel!

Brad Delp- Camp Host/Grounds

Quirky Facts: I’m always seeking new adventures, embracing an open-minded and cool-headed approach to life. I tend to see the glass as half full rather than half empty.

Achievements: Paramedic certification 1996, Award 2019 Paramedic of the year for Stokes County, 2020 Certified Medical Examiner in the State of North Carolina. EMS Shift Supervisor for Stokes County.

Last Career: I spent 29 years in Emergency Medical Services as a paramedic in the state of NC, holding various certifications, including that of a state medical examiner. I was promoted to shift supervisor five years ago and held that position until my retirement on June 1, 2024.

Hobbies/Fav Things To Do: Camping has always been one of my biggest hobbies, complemented by activities such as playing golf, hiking, mountain biking, exploring with ebikes, kayaking, and traveling to new places.

Darrell Hutchens - Grounds Coordinator

Quirky Facts: For about fifteen years I’ve built movie-quality costumes, starting with Star Wars characters like Darth Vader and Chewbacca. They meet Lucasfilm standards and are often used for charity events. I’ve even been on stage twice with Weird Al as Darth Vader. I also build costumes for haunted attractions and perform at events and conventions. I really enjoy entertaining people and bringing smiles to others.

Achievements: Over 30 years of service in law enforcement (retired in 2018).
25 years teaching motorcycle safety courses at community colleges across the state and with Harley-Davidson.

Last Career: Retired Law Enforcement (30+ years)

Additional Info: Happily married to a wonderful wife who helps with the costume process — something I definitely couldn’t do without her. We also have a very spoiled eight-pound Yorkie mix named Buttercup, who we lovingly refer to as our “child.”

Mandy Bircham- Guest Operations Manager

Quirky Facts: I have a knack for axe throwing—not just the regular way, but also behind my back and over my shoulder! It’s a skill that always surprises people and keeps things interesting.

Achievements: I am a devoted dog mom, giving my four-legged companion the love and care he deserves. Above all, I am a proud aunt and great-aunt to the most amazing young ladies.

Previous Career: My background includes years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and managing an axe-throwing venue, where I developed strong customer service and leadership skills.

Hobbies/Favorite Things To Do: If it involves nature, count me in! Hiking, fishing, and soaking up the beauty of the outdoors are my happy places. I also have a lifelong goal of visiting every national park.

Elizabeth Delp- Office Assistant/Camp Host

Quirky Facts: I’m really good at assembling furniture. If I could have a manatee in a fish tank I’d have 100 of them! lol

Achievements: Raised 3 healthy & thriving children 

Last Career: King Kitchen- Customer Service 

Hobbies/Fav Things To Do: Playing with my Grand Babies, Traveling & seeing new things, spending time with my family & boyfriend, recently acquired a liking to kayaking. 

Jessica Wagoner- P/T Office Assistant

Quirky Facts: I’ve been a vegetarian for 25 years.  I also have bachelor degrees in Marine Biology and Psychology.  I volunteer at the Greensboro Science Center.  And I have 2 dogs, a rabbit and a duck.

Achievements:  I’m scuba certified which I don’t use much these days.  But I’ve been a business owner of Little Wagon Photographer for 12 years and just started a mobile charcuterie bar with a friend.

Last Career: Previous vet assistant and still currently a photographer and wedding coordinator.  

Hobbies/Fav Things To Do: Anything involving water or boats…LOVE the ocean, kayaking, paddle boarding, wakeboarding, I even love riding on ferries.  I go to Lake Norman any chance I get with my 2 dogs.

Additional Info:  I picked up camping because I was traveling to the beach for photography often.  I’ve been enjoying my pop-up for 3 years now.  

Darrell Angell- Camp Host/Grounds

Quirky Facts: Played drums for several local bands, Yadkin County native, favorite drink is an LIT, lifetime Johnboy and Billy fan, and a Weather Channel Guru.

Achievements: Drove one of the equipment trucks for the last Charlie Daniels/Travis Tritt tour in 2019. He’s a “Caribbean Cornhole Champion”. Darrell was the recipient of the 2023 RiverWalk “Johnny on the Spot” Award.

Last Career: Truck Driver

Hobbies/Fav Things To Do: Play cornhole at RiverWalk, ride 4-wheelers, drive my ‘69 Camaro, and spend time with my grandsons.

Additional Info: Married to Beth forever, have two daughters Dee and Katie, and three grandsons Brayden, Brody, and Jackson.
